We offer learning adventures and photo outings that take you’ve learned in the classroom into the real world.
Learning adventures have a small class size and consists of a field session where your instructor, Mike MacDonald, visits with each student to gives personal attention and guidance. Mike doesn’t take his photo gear into the field. Here’s there to give you his undivided attention.
Photo outings are educational social events that gather like-minded people to share a common activity. They last one session and have larger class sizes. Some initial instruction is given, then participants learn from each other, with small amount of personal instruction provided by the instructor. Sometimes, an optional follow-up feedback session is scheduled so students can learn to improve their photographs. This feedback session comes at an additional charge.
NOTE: Learning adventures and outings are planned several months in advance based on the best available knowledge and history, but there is no way to tell what the conditions will actually be like. Therefore, a mandatory make-up date is scheduled, too!
